Tomoko Kanzaki is a self-taught printmaking artist based in Tokyo Japan who uses mimeograph to make his stencils. The technology originated from Edison Mimeograph, a Japanese artist who founded it to make a unique improvement to the process, the result was "mimeograph printing" which includes "waxed Japanese paper" and "iron files". It's been 100 years since then this printing technique has been used which Kanzaki continues to explore.
