Well, you can expect 164 pages of inspiring conversations, beautiful photography, fun illustrations by moi (and others!), resources and more.Oh, I almost forgot to say that it is VERY colourful. I think you’re going to like it. (What do you mean, I’m biased?!).
Joy,Planet, Mind
In this first issue, I decided to take on 3 themes that I deeply care about: Joy, Planet and Mind. The aim is to raise awareness around different issues our precious Earth is facing, try to de-stigmatise various mental health issues and spread a lot of joy along the way. Sounds like a big - but hopefully exciting? - programme, I know! Because I couldn’t possibly do this all on my own, I reached out to some amazing people - experts in their own fields - to have beautiful, inspiring, fun and educating conversations.
Sustainability
Spellbound is printed by Park Communications on FSC® certified Arcoprint Milk paper. Park works to the EMAS certification and its Environmental Management System is certified to ISO 14001. 100% of the inks used are vegetable oil based and 95% of press chemicals are recycled for further use.
I’m choosing to offset the carbon produced to print Spellbound by becoming a Climate Partner. This means I’m paying a bit more to be able to erase Spellbound’s carbon footprint. I was able to pick any project I wanted, but obviously (if you know me, you know I love the sea), the project I’m supporting is all about keeping plastic waste from entering our Oceans. I will talk about this a bit more inside Spellbound!
