Derived from studies of intersecting geometric forms on a rigid grid, but rendered in a loose and intentionally imprecise fashion. Originally intended as a screen-print/Riso combination print (and the registration drift inherent in that process), but the colour layering that emerged from the design ruled that out – so screen print it is! The title refers to the implied vessels on tiered surfaces.
